The Department of Mathematics invites applications for full-time Tenure-Track Assistant Professor of
Mathematics, to begin August 1, 2022. The University of Hawaiʻi at Mānoa is a public R1 university, located in Honolulu, Hawai'i. It is the flagship campus of the University of Hawai'i system, with a vibrant research culture. This search is focused on growing the department's broad group in applied mathematics. Candidates should have a strong research background in an area of applied mathematics, and are encouraged to mention any connections with existing faculty members' research interests in their cover letter. The department serves a very diverse student population from Hawai'i and beyond from introductory service courses through to the PhD level. Candidates should be enthusiastic about engaging with students with diverse life experiences and educational needs.
