Moreau Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Department of Applied and Computational Mathematics and Statistics, University of Notre DameThe Moreau Faculty Development Program seeks to increase the number of scholars who will contribute to the intellectual vibrancy and research excellence of The University of Notre Dame by providing a comprehensive research, teaching, and mentoring experience. Promising candidates in any discipline who meet one or more of the following criteria are eligible to apply:
In addition to their research, Fellows will teach at least one course each year of their appointment. Fellows will also be part of mentoring initiatives developed and sponsored by their host department, the Office of Postdoctoral Scholars and the Office of the Provost. These will be geared toward long-term professional development and the evaluation of each fellow for possible appointment to a research and teaching position at the University. The initial term is a one-year appointment with the possibility of yearly renewals up to three years in total pending good performance and availability of funds. Scholars will carry a teaching obligation of at least one course in each year of their appointment with a competitive annual salary. Health insurance and relocation/research expenses will also be part of the fellowship package. Applicants must have completed all requirements for the doctoral degree by August 2022 or have received the terminal degree in their discipline within the past five years.
