Job Description The Department of Mathematics and Statistics (www.math.umass.edu) at the University of Massachusetts Amherst invites applications for Visiting Assistant Professor positions (non-tenure track). One or more appointments may be a Marshall H. Stone Visiting Assistant Professorship, with a higher salary, reduced teaching load and enhanced research fund. Candidates should have completed the Ph.D. by the beginning of the appointment. The initial appointment is for one (1) year and is ordinarily renewable for two (2) additional years.
