The Assistant Director for Governance and Planning helps the Director manage administrative responsibilities and communications with external stakeholders and the public. Responsibilities include overseeing the Director’s calendar and schedule priorities; maintaining lists of incoming proposals and ICERM responses; supporting governance board and other meetings called by the Director; preparing presentations on ICERM programs and operations; overseeing the development of publicity, content on ICERM webpages, and social media messaging; serving as a liaison with Advancement for fundraising efforts; assisting the Director with functional and policy aspects of special programs and community outreach activities.An undergraduate major in the mathematical sciences and master's degree in a relevant field is preferred.ICERM is one of several math institutes funded by the National Science Foundation (NSF).
