About the Department of Mathematics

The Mathematics department at Seattle Pacific University offers a BA in Mathematics, BS in Mathematics, and BS in Applied Mathematics and also supports a minor in data analytics and a mathematics concentration for prospective elementary teachers. Our students go on to teaching, graduate studies, and work in business and industry. Math majors complete a research project under faculty mentorship and joint research with undergraduates is encouraged. The department services programs in science and engineering and has a role in the general education program of the University.
