The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Michigan Technological University invites applications for faculty at the tenure-track assistant professor rank. We are open to all research areas in data science-related disciplines, with a particular interest in machine learning, predictive modeling, computer vision, imaging, uncertainty quantification, model reduction, or probability. The successful applicant should have a PhD in Statistics or Mathematics, and should have a record of scholarship and be able to draw from relevant experiences to teach courses in statistics and mathematics.
