| The Department of Mathematics is now accepting applications for two faculty positions beginning preferably in March 2022. The usual teaching load is two courses per year (one per semester), although it might occasionally rise to three per year. All areas of mathematics will be considered and the successful applicant will be ranked by the University of Chile as an Assistant, Associate or Full Professor depending on his/her qualifications. Research, teaching (in Spanish and at any level from beginning undergraduates to doctoral students), administration and outreach are expected. Our Department is located in Santiago, Chile, at the
Juan Gómez Millas campus of the University of Chile.
The deadline for receipt of all application documents is February 17, 2022 at six p.m. Santiago time. By law, no late documents can be considered.
Application Materials Required:
• Curriculum Vitae.
• Research statement.
• Photocopy, scan or photograph of Ph. D. degree in Mathematics, or equivalent.
• Two reference letters submitted directly by their writers.
• PDF of all publications since 2015.
• Sworn statement that the applicant is not barred from applying.
