Position Description
The Department of Mathematics at The Pennsylvania State University
is seeking outstanding applicants for one tenure-track faculty position
in the modern theory of dynamical systems at tenure-line level.
Applicants should have a Ph.D. in Mathematics by appointment start
date and must demonstrate potential for excellence in research and teaching.
The successful candidate is expected to teach courses at both undergraduate and
graduate levels, have a promising research and publication agenda, and have a
commitment to university service and public outreach. The candidate will be a
member of the Anatole Katok Center for Dynamical Systems and Geometry (https://science.psu.edu/math/research/dynsys)
and will participate in all activities of the center.
