The
Department of Mathematics at Lehigh University invites applications for one or two postdoctoral positions in the research group of Professor Yue Yu starting fall 2022. The position is for two years with a possibility of renewal for a third year. The teaching load will be one or two courses per year. Research topics of interest include the numerical methods for data-driven models, and their applications to various science and engineering disciplines. These positions are intended for new or recent Ph.D.s in applied/computational math or computational science. Ideal candidates will have strong past experience in numerical analysis and scientific computing. Experience in numerical methods of data-driven models and/or nonlocal models is preferred but not required.
