The department seeks candidates enthusiastic about working on and with teams, integrating technology into instruction, and developing highly-engaging approaches to the problem-solving pedagogical approach of the school. In addition to teaching mathematics, faculty responsibilities include serving as an advisor to students. Candidates with expertise in design thinking, applied engineering and robotics, maker spaces, experiential curriculum, machine learning and/or interdisciplinary program design would have the opportunity to contribute to the growth of the School’s Wu Tsai Center for Creative Sciences.

Desired Qualifications A bachelor’s degree (B.A.) in mathematics or a related field is required; a minimum of 3 years of teaching experience is expected. Interest in supporting current co-curricular programs and professional learning communities is also highly desirable.
