The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Washington University in St. Louis has one opening for an Open-Rank faculty position, to begin Fall 2022, with emphasis on Statistics and Data Science, and related areas. The appointment can be at the Assistant, Associate, or Full- level with rank commensurate with experience and qualifications. A Ph.D. in Statistics, Mathematics, or a closely related field is required. Duties will include teaching three one-semester courses per year, conducting and maintaining a strong research program, writing for publication, advising students, and participating in department governance and university service. Competitive applicants at the Assistant Professor level will have demonstrated potential for research in Statistics and Data Science. Applicants at the Associate and Full Professor levels will have a distinguished research record.
