The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Rutgers University-Camden invites applications for a tenure-track/tenured faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor. This search is open to all areas in mathematics and statistics with preference given to candidates in Statistics and Data Science or Applied and Computational Mathematics. The successful candidate should hold a Ph.D. in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, or Statistics; have a record of excellence in research and teaching; and show a commitment to building an equitable and diverse learning and scholarly environment. We are particularly interested in candidates from underrepresented groups. Applicants should submit a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, a research statement highlighting past research accomplishments and future plans, and a teaching statement describing the applicant’s experience and philosophy in teaching and mentoring.
