College of the Holy Cross Department of Mathematics and Computer ScienceFull-Time Visiting Faculty Position in MathematicsGENERAL INFORMATION The Department of Mathematics and Computer Science at the College of the Holy Cross invites applications for a full-time visiting faculty appointment in mathematics for the 2022-2023 academic year to begin in August 2022. This position is a one-year appointment with the possibility of renewal for a second year. Visiting full-time faculty teach 3 courses each semester. The schedule for the fall semester will consist of two sections of Calculus 1 and one section of Calculus 2. In the spring semester there will be an opportunity to teach an intermediate-level course such as Linear Algebra. Full-time visiting faculty are eligible for travel support and reimbursement of relocation costs within the College’s published policies. All full-time appointments offer competitive salaries and include full benefits. QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must demonstrate commitment to, and excellence in, undergraduate teaching as informed by current practice and scholarship in the field. A Ph.D. in mathematics or applied mathematics is required.
