We currently have over 80 permanent academic staff and a commensurate number of postdocs and PhD students. These two senior roles will suit those with internationally leading research programmes who also have a genuine commitment to teaching as part of a mutually supportive and close working team. Preference may be given to candidates with an independent research agenda who will complement existing strengths in the Department, bridge between existing areas of expertise within the Department, or strengthen mathematical connections with application areas.
