Applications are invited for a 2-3 year
postdoctoral position at Duke University. The projects are focused on
the mathematical aspects of Quantum Information Science and require a
good knowledge of operator theory as well as the representation theory
of groups and Lie Algebras. The postdoc will be a member of Duke Quantum Center (https://quantum.duke.edu/people/) and Robust Quantum Simulation Institute (https://rqs.umd.edu/people/).
The projects cover various topics in quantum computing, quantum
control, quantum information, and quantum thermodynamics. The position
requires a Ph.D. in Physics, Mathematics, or Engineering. For further
information, please contact Iman Marvian (https://sites.duke.edu/marvian/). Interested applicants are invited to submit their CV and two references at AcademicJobsOnline (https://academicjobsonline.org/ajo/jobs/22055) or directly email them to Iman Marvian (iman.marvian@duke.edu).
