Junior Professorship (m/f/d) in the field of Algebraic Geometry

The Faculty of Mathematics and Physics invites applications for the following position within Salary Scale W1 of the Lower Saxony salary system (NBesO) to be appointed at the earliest possible date: Junior Professorship (m/f/d) in the field of Algebraic Geometry
The position is limited to three years with a renewal option for a further three years.
The Position
- extends and complements the research profile of the Institute for Algebraic Geometry on an international level
- contributes to the broad teaching program in mathematics
- participates in the activities of the Institute for Algebraic Geometry
Your Profile
- internationally visible research profile
- research in algebraic geometry or with clear connections to algebraic geometry (e.g. arithmetic or complex geometry)
- preparedness to take part in collaborations within the Institute for Algebraic Geometry and beyond
- ability to conduct courses in English
