Position Description
The department of mathematics at North Carolina State University invites applications for a junior tenure- track position beginning Fall 2023. Applications from suitably qualified candidates for more senior positions will also be considered. We are seeking exceptionally well-qualified individuals with research interests in financial mathematics. Areas of interest include, but are not limited to, computational finance, Monte Carlo methods, portfolio optimization and machine learning in finance.Candidates must have a PhD in mathematics, applied mathematics, financial mathematics or a related area;
post-doctoral experience; strong research record; and commitment to excellence in teaching at the
