The Agnes Scott College Department of Mathematics invites applications for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level beginning Fall 2023. Candidates should have a PhD in mathematics or a related field, completed by July 1, 2023.

Applicants should be able to teach a wide range of mathematics courses, show evidence of excellent and committed teaching, have an ongoing program of scholarly work, be able to foster student research, and demonstrate a commitment to working with a socially and economically diverse student population. The 3/2 teaching load includes mathematics courses at all levels, including in the candidate’s specialty, and contributions to SUMMIT, the college’s global learning and leadership development initiative.
