Visiting Assistant Professor Postdoctoral Fellowship (PD): The School of Mathematics at Georgia Tech invites applications for post-doctoral research positions for Fall 2023, or possibly earlier. These positions are intended for recent Ph.D.s and priority will be given to those candidates who: (1) show the potential to carry out research of exceptional quality at Georgia Tech; and (2) complement existing strengths in the School of Mathematics. Usually these appointments include teaching duties, and to be eligible for these non-tenure track Visiting Assistant Professorship opportunities, candidates must (3) have demonstrated commitment to high quality teaching. Consistent with these priorities, candidates will be considered in all areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics and Statistics. Applications by qualified candidates from historically marginalized groups in the mathematical sciences are particularly encouraged. A Ph.D. (or its equivalent) in Mathematics or a closely related field is required. Applications must consist of i) curriculum vitae, including a list of publications, ii) a research statement including a summary of future research plans, iii) at least three letters of reference, and, if applicable, iv) evidence of teaching interest, abilities, and related experience summarized in a teaching statement and a teaching letter of reference.
