NYU Abu Dhabi 

The Division of Science at NYU Abu Dhabi is searching for accomplished faculty to conduct important research and teach the next generation of global leaders.   

You are invited to apply for a tenured or tenure track faculty position in Mathematics. Available openings are at the Assistant, Associate and Full Professor ranks. As part of a major multi-year growth plan, the Mathematics Program at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) invites applications in the broadly construed areas: 
  • Geometry, topology and algebra. With a particular interest in quantum topology, differential geometry, algebraic topology and algebraic geometry. 
  • Probability theory and related fields. With a particular interest in random matrices, statistical mechanics, Markov chains and stochastic differential equations. 

Exceptional candidates in other fields may also be considered. Successful candidates are expected to teach and pursue research at NYUAD. A Ph.D. in the mathematical sciences is required.

This position requires a Ph.D. in Mathematics. We seek individuals who have, or have the potential to develop, a strong record of scholarship and have the ability to develop and lead high-quality research.

Shortlisted candidates are expected to be invited for campus visits in Abu Dhabi and New York in early Spring 2023. We anticipate that successful candidates can start the appointment and relocate to Abu Dhabi in the academic year 2023-2024.
