Position Description
Position SummaryTeach undergraduate and graduate (Master’s level) courses, committee service, and possibly advise students. Position will be responsible for teaching four (4) courses per semester, including large lecture sections of introductory statistics. Familiarity with statistical software, including R, SAS, and SAS Enterprise Miner, is required. Previous experience at teaching statistics courses is a plus.
The Department of Information Systems, Statistics, and Management Science invites applications for a Clinical Instructor position in Applied Statistics that starts August 16, 2023. Familiarity with statistical software, including R, SAS, and SAS Enterprise Miner, is required. This position is a non-tenure track, three-year appointment that is renewable at the discretion of the University. Continuation of this appointment is dependent upon meeting the departmental and college performance standards and complying with all faculty and general UA employment policies.
Either a Master’s degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, or a closely related field, and possess extensive relevant work experience; or a PhD degree in Statistics, Applied Statistics, or a closely related field.
