Job Title: Faculty Open Rank (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) in Statistics Job ID: 26356 Location: Hunter College Regular/Temporary: Regular FACULTY VACANCY ANNOUNCEMENT The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Hunter College CUNY invites applications for a tenure-track or tenure faculty position in Statistics or Mathematics at the open level (Assistant/Associate/Full Professor) to begin in the fall of 2023. The successful candidate will teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels, serve as a mentor to Master's students, develop and maintain a high quality research program and participate in service to the Department and the University. We seek outstanding scholars in Statistics but other areas of Mathematics will also be considered. Review of applications will begin on March 1, 2023 and will continue until the position is filled. QUALIFICATIONS Candidates must have a PhD in Statistics or Mathematics and must show excellence in both research and teaching. VACCINE REQUIREMENT Candidates will be required to provide proof of being fully vaccinated against COVID-19 upon commencing employment. Exemption (medical or religious) requests to this requirement will be considered in accordance with applicable law. Being fully vaccinated is defined for this purpose as being at least two weeks past their final dose of an authorized COVID-19 vaccine regimen. Final candidates must be fully vaccinated as of their first day of employment.
