The Aetna Quantitative Center and Department of Mathematics at Trinity College invite applications for a Visiting Assistant Professor/Visiting Lecturer position, beginning in August 2023. Responsibilities include teaching five courses per year, three Quantitative Literacy courses for the Quantitative Center and two introductory-level courses for the Department of Mathematics.

This position is a full-time two-year teaching position, where full time faculty are eligible to apply for assistance in faculty development opportunities. A Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, or Mathematics Education is strongly preferred with college teaching experience required.

The Aetna Quantitative Center was established in 1987 to ensure that all students achieve quantitative literacy, and to support students who are enrolled in courses across the College that require significant quantitative skills.
