Our faculty is highly focused on teaching and maintains active research agendas in pure and applied mathematics, mathematics education, statistics, and data science. The position is open to candidates in areas of pure and applied mathematics with preference given to candidates specializing in analysis who can contribute to our undergraduate and graduate programs. The successful candidate will have a record of significant research achievements, exemplary teaching, and impactful service commensurate with rank.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in mathematics and demonstrated pattern of excellence in research, teaching, and service. ABD status may be considered as long as all degree requirements, including dissertation, defense of dissertation, and comprehensive examinations, have been successfully completed by time of appointment- September 1, 2023.

Desired Qualifications: Specialization in data science, potential for interdisciplinary collaborations, experience teaching and mentoring students at all levels, especially doctoral candidates.
