The initial appointment is for one year, with renewal for a second year possible based on a determination of college circumstances and needs. Any specialization will be considered, but preference may be given to areas that expand the breadth of the department. Applicants must have a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching, an appreciation for the broad intellectual community of an excellent liberal arts college, and the ability to work with a diverse student body. Teaching duties are three courses per semester and include a wide range of courses, both upper and lower level.
