The Department of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Marquette University seeks to fill three full-time non-tenure track faculty positions for the 2022-2023 academic year. Applicants should possess at least a master’s degree in mathematics or related area; a Ph.D. is preferred. The department seeks candidates with strong experience teaching undergraduate-level mathematics and/or statistics courses. The ability to teach in a large lecture setting is an advantage. The teaching load is expected to be 3-4 sections per semester, depending on class size. Teaching responsibilities include: class preparation, assigning readings and homework, grading exams and papers, incorporating computation, assigning midterm and final grades, holding at least 3 regularly scheduled office hours per week, and contributing to our student success efforts. The ideal candidate will contribute to all aspects of the teaching mission of the department, including its graduate research programs (M.S. and Ph.D. in Computational Mathematical and Statistical Sciences).
