Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor of Mathematics
Millsaps College

The Mathematics department at Millsaps College invites applicants for a full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor or Visiting Instructor 
beginning Fall 2023. The successful candidate will teach six (6) courses per academic year and should be qualified to teach precalculus. 
Tailoring of course assignments to the successful candidate’s expertise and preference may be possible. We seek innovative, resourceful, 
dedicated candidates who are eager to teach the increasingly diverse student body at Millsaps. Candidates with experience, and demonstrated 
success, in college-level teaching will be especially competitive.

Qualifications
•	Ph.D. in mathematics or applied mathematics required by the start of the appointment for the Visiting Assistant Professor position. 
        Candidates with a master’s degree in mathematics or applied mathematics may be considered for a Visiting Instructor level position.
