School of Mathematics and Statistics, Central South University (CSU), China

CSU was among the first group of universities included in the “211 Project”, the “985 Project” and World First Class University of China. Mathematics of CSU was selected as the national “Double First-class” construction discipline. The School of Mathematics and Statistics of CSU invites applications for various positions at different levels. This includes postdoctoral positions(2 years), tenure-track positions(3 years plus 3 years), tenured positions (associate professor and full professor), and positions for distinguished professorship. At the time of hiring, candidates are expected to have a Ph.D. degree in mathematics and statistics or related subject.

We will provide the following: Highly competitive annual salary. Depending on position and experience, the starting salary is generally higher than the average university salary in Hunan Province. In addition to the basic salary, an annual bonus will also be offered.  A generous package of start-up funds and allowances. Depending on the rank of the position, the agreement on the start-up funds and allowance is on a case-by-case basis. Housing. Successful candidates will be eligible to apply for subsidized apartments.
