The Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Computer Science at St. Olaf College invites applications for one full-time (6 course teaching load) and at least one part-time (1-3 course teaching load) one-year positions in mathematics at the Visiting Instructor or Assistant Professor level to begin August 2023. Responsibilities include teaching a variety of undergraduate mathematics courses and participating in the life of the Mathematics program, MSCS Department, and college as a whole. Qualifications: We are looking for candidates who have a Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field, and who can teach a variety of courses in our broad mathematics program. Highest consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated effectiveness in teaching at the undergraduate level. All areas of mathematical expertise will be considered, with some preference for applied and computational areas. includes thriving programs in mathematics, statistics and data science,
computer science, mathematical biology, and mathematics education. While
