Applications are invited for Fields Postdoctoral Fellowship positions with the Thematic Program on Mathematical Oncology (the "Program") taking place at the Fields Institute from July 1-December 31, 2024. More information on the program will be posted here as it becomes available: http://www.fields.utoronto.ca/activities/24-25/oncology . The fellowships provide for a period of engagement in research and participation in the activities of the Institute. Candidates are encouraged to interpret the subject areas of the program broadly. These fellowships pay a stipend of CAD$5,000 per month for six months. Fellowships may be offered in conjunction with partner universities, through which a further period of support may be possible. Please list the name(s) of faculty members at Fields Institute Principal Sponsoring Universities (PSUs) who you feel may be appropriate supervisors in your cover letter. The list of Fields PSUs can be found here: http://www.fields.utoronto.ca/about/sponsors . You are encouraged to apply directly to these other institutions as well. PhD students are encouraged to include expected completion dates in their cover letter.
One of the Fields Postdoctoral Fellows associated with the Program may be awarded the prestigious Jerrold E. Marsden Postdoctoral Fellowship. This fellowship pays an enhanced stipend for participation in the Program.
There may also be a number of two-year positions available connected to the Fields-Ontario Postdoctoral Fellowship (FOPDF). These fellowships involve a semester at Fields and three semesters at one of Fields PSUs. To apply for the FOPDF, please indicate your interest in your cover letter and include the names of faculty members at Fields PSUs who may be appropriate as supervisors.

Eligibility: Qualified candidates who will have a recent PhD in the area of the Program or a related area of the mathematical sciences are encouraged to apply. Women and underrepresented minorities are especially encouraged to apply. Fellowship positions are conditional on funding for the Program.
This ad will be posted until all positions are filled.
