The College of Natural Science and Mathematics at the University of Alaska Fairbanks is seeking
applicants for potential adjunct faculty positions for our Mathematics
& Statistics department. We are seeking applicants with strong
quantitative skills and experience teaching mathematics or statistics
who possess a desire to help students succeed in reaching quantitative
success. The College of Natural Science and Mathematics (CNSM) is recruiting qualified applicants for its pool of adjunct instructors in Mathematics & Statistics. Adjunct instructors are hired on a semester-by-semester appointment. Qualified applicants for this position will be placed into a hiring pool for the academic year of 2023-2024 from which instructors will be hired. Acceptance into the hiring pool does not constitute an offer of an appointment, nor does having worked one semester guarantee that a position will be available the following semester; hiring decisions are made on a semester-by-semester basis (including summer sessions), according to the needs of that semester's schedule. We are recruiting applicants for both face-to-face courses and distance courses. Applicants for face-to-face courses must be available to teach the courses in person in Fairbanks, Alaska. No relocation expenses will be paid for adjunct instruction. |
