Carroll College, an independent, Catholic, diocesan,
liberal arts undergraduate college in Helena, Montana announces a one-year
visiting faculty position in mathematics beginning in August, 2023. We seek
engaging teachers who use interactive methods and current technologies and who
would support our mathematical modeling-oriented program. Successful candidates
should be interested in teaching a wide range of mathematics courses. Responsibilities include teaching 24 semester
credit hours per year. Candidates must
have a master’s degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or a
closely related field. Candidates with a
doctorate in mathematics, statistics, computer science, or related field
preferred. The Mathematics
Program at Carroll graduates 5-10 students per year, many of whom go on to
graduate school in mathematics and related fields. The mathematics program also
provides strong support to several disciplines on campus, particularly data
