The Board of Electors to The Kuwait Professorship of Number Theory and Algebra invite applications for this Professorship to take up appointment from January 2024 or a mutually agreed date thereafter. The Kuwait Professorship of Number Theory and Algebra was established from October 2000, following a generous benefaction from the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences. Candidates will have an outstanding research record of international stature within the fields of Number Theory and Algebra and the vision, leadership, experience and enthusiasm to establish a leading research presence, either building on or complementing current strengths of the Department. They will hold a PhD or equivalent postgraduate qualification. Standard professorial duties include teaching and research, examining, supervision and administration.
