The Department of Mathematics in the College of Science, the University of Texas at Arlington, invites applications for a non-tenure track visiting assistant professor. In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States. Teaching 3 courses per academic year and mentoring graduate students and conducting scholarly research in one of the two following areas: 1) data science with focus on graph structure learning and deep and graph neural networks towards multi-view learning; 2) stochastic processes with focus on modeling temporal evolution of data via differential equations. Applicants should have done research and scholarly works in the fields and be proficient in coding. Demonstrated excellence in effective teaching. Successful candidates are expected to work closely with some of the current faculty in the department on the listed topics. The salary will be competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience. The minimum qualification is an earned Ph.D. in Mathematical Sciences, Statistics, or Computer Science.
