Assistant Professor in Numerical and Computational Mathematics

Faculty of Mathematics and Physics, Charles University (Prague) invites applications for an assistant professor position (tenure-track). First contract is for 3 years, it can be prolonged after an evaluation up to 9 years. After the habilitation, a permanent position will be offered.

Requirements: Ph.D. degree (or equivalent) in a relevant area, research and teaching experience in numerical and computational mathematics or a related field, positive attitude towards pedagogical work, ability to integrate research and teaching activities as well as supervising student theses, publication record in high-quality journals in the area, experience from foreign academic or research institutions.
