Position Description

The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Carnegie Mellon University invites applications for a tenure-track position at the rank of assistant professor or higher to begin September 1, 2024. The search is focused on candidates with expertise in computational mathematics, numerical analysis, optimization, and related areas. Addressing applied problems and participation in interdisciplinary efforts is also valued.

Qualifications

Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated excellence in research and have a vigorous research program.
