Position Description
The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Boston University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor position in the field of Probability. Candidates with research expertise and interests in areas of probability, stochastic processes, and stochastic analysis are strongly encouraged to apply. Applicants must show outstanding capacity and achievement in research as well as excellence in teaching mathematics and/or statistics at the undergraduate and graduate levels and a commitment to diversity. A Ph.D. in mathematics, mathematical statistics, statistics, or a related field is required. Our department is committed to building and sustaining a diverse and cohesive community of scholars.
