The Department of Mathematical Sciences at Smith College invites applications for an open-rank tenure-track or tenured position, to begin July 1, 2024. Dedicated teacher-scholars in mathematics or related fields are encouraged to apply. Qualifications include a Ph.D. in Mathematics or in a related field, a strong commitment to teaching, and a high potential for research. The position has a teaching load of two courses per semester, with repeat preparations being common. Successful candidates will have an active research agenda and should be prepared to engage a diverse group of students in their program of research.
