Position Description
The Department of Mathematics at the University of Alabama seeks applications for a postdoctoral position. This position is renewable annually for up to two years. The teaching load is 3 courses, 9 credit hours, per year (a 2/1 load). Candidates are expected to provide effective teaching and carry out research in collaboration with members of one of our research groups. Required Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. in Mathematics or a closely related field and demonstrate the potential for research excellence in one of our research groups. A successful candidate will be expected to have sufficient experience to teach across the undergraduate curriculum.
