Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at Auburn University invites applications for two open-rank, nine-month, tenure-track positions in Statistics/Data Science, beginning on August 16, 2024. Candidates with expertise in all areas of statistics and data science are desired. The rank for each position is open and will be determined based on qualifications. An earned doctorate in Statistics, Data Science or a closely related field is required by the appointment start date. Successful candidates are expected to pursue independent research and teach courses at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates must be able to communicate effectively in English and possess excellent writing and interpersonal skills.
