POSITION DESCRIPTION The Department of Mathematics (http://www.math.ucsd.edu), within the School of Physical Sciences at the University of California, San Diego, is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff and student body. We invite applications for our Stefan E. Warschawski Visiting Assistant Professorships in all areas of mathematics and statistics. All positions are subject to availability of funding. These positions are three-year nonrenewable appointments. Teaching in Mathematics, and related topics, will be expected. Ideally, the candidate will have skills and interest in teaching lecture courses at undergraduate upper and lower division levels.
