Lecturer/Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor in Mathematics Job Number: ACAD107131 Contract Type/Work Pattern: Open ended/Full time Salary: £41,732 - £46,974 (Grade J); £48,350 - £54,395 (Grade K) ; £57,696 - £64,914 (Grade L) depending on experience The role The School of Mathematics of the University of Bristol is seeking to make an appointment in mathematics or mathematical physics at the level of lecturer (assistant professor), senior lecturer or associate professor, depending on the experience of the successful candidate. We are seeking applicants who have demonstrated the highest achievement in a research area that aligns with and/or complements activity in one or more of the following three institutes within the School: Pure Mathematics; Probability, Analysis and Dynamics (PAD); Mathematical Physics. What will you be doing? The post-holder will be responsible for developing their own research programme, carry out appropriate administrative tasks and deliver excellence in teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level. You should apply if You have a passion for developing and leading innovative and impactful research in mathematics. You have demonstrated the self-motivation, initiative, and organizational skills required carry out a successful research programme. You have a proven publication record in internationally recognized, peer-reviewed scientific journals.
