Position Description
The Morningside Center of Mathematics (MCM), Chinese Academy of Sciences invites applications for several postdoctoral positions beginning in 2024, in all fields of pure mathematics. These positions are for two years, and may be extended by one more year upon successful evaluation. Further extensions may be offered in exceptional cases. Ph.D. in pure mathematics is required. Subject Area: Pure mathematics Application Deadline: The first meeting of the recruitment committee is scheduled around December 15th 2023. Late applications will be considered if the positions are not filled. Duty: Research in pure mathematics. Collaboration with faculty members of MCM is encouraged. No teaching load. Salary Range: 300,000 - 450,000 CNY (before deductions and tax) per year. The MCM provides research grants to postdoctoral fellows in need. The MCM also provides assistance with housing. About the MCM: The MCM has been promoting mathematical research and exchange since its foundation in 1996. The director of the center is Prof. Shing-Tung Yau.Application Materials Required:
