Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematical Sciences invites applications for two or three-year postdoctoral research fellowships beginning September 1, 2024.

Applicants are expected to show exceptional research promise, as well as clear evidence of achievement, and should have research interests that intersect those of the current faculty of the department. The department expects to make several appointments. The positions are open to all areas represented by the current faculty, and the department is particularly interested in candidates working in the areas of mathematical logic, PDEs and related topics.

A Ph.D. in mathematics or in closely related disciplines is required.

The Department of Mathematical Sciences is committed to increasing the diversity of our community on a range of intellectual and cultural dimensions.
