Postdoctoral Program
The Department of Mathematics & Statistics at the University of Calgary invites applications for Postdoctoral Scholars for the year 2024-2025, with support consisting of both research and teaching stipends. Subject to budgetary restrictions and satisfactory performance, these positions are renewable for a second year.

Applications must be submitted electronically through and consist of:

  • Curriculum vitae
  • Statement of research interests
  • Statement of teaching philosophy
  • Three (3) letters of reference, at least one addressing teaching.
Appointment as a Postdoctoral Fellow typically requires a PhD obtained since 2021, or expected no later than July 31st, 2024. Earlier PhDs will be considered where the research career has been interrupted by circumstances such as parental responsibilities or illness.
