The School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology invites applications for several post-doctoral research positions in the Mathematical Sciences for Fall 2024, subject to the availability of funds. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications
Minimum and Preferred Qualifications for these positions are: (1) a recent PhD or its equivalent in the Mathematical Sciences; (2) show the potential to carry out research of exceptional quality at Georgia Tech; (3) research interests complementary to existing strengths in the School of Mathematics; (4) strong potential for external funding; (5) the ability in teaching, scholarship, and/or service that contributes to the Student Success Criteria listed below. Consistent with these priorities, candidates will be considered in all areas of Pure and Applied Mathematics and Statistics.

The ability to teach and mentor a diverse student body.
The ability to adopt teaching strategies that support the learning and success of all students.

About the School of Mathematics at the Georgia Institute of Technology
The School of Mathematics instruct students from across campus, including undergraduate and graduate students. Its faculty carry out research in a wide variety of Mathematical Sciences. They are key players in several cross-disciplinary institutes, centers, and programs at Georgia Tech, including PhD programs in Algorithms, Combinatorics, and Optimization (ACO), Computational Science and Engineering (CSE), Bioinformatics, Quantitative Bioscience (QBioS), and Machine Learning (ML@GT). The School plays leadership roles in the NSF-Simons Center – The Southeast Center for Mathematics and Biology, and hosts an NSF-RTG in Geometry and Topology (GTGT).
