Position Description:    

The Department of Mathematics at the University of California, Irvine invites applications from outstanding candidates for a tenure-track Assistant Professorship to start July 1, 2024. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. in mathematics or related fields. Tenure-track Assistant Professor candidates should have demonstrated excellence in research and teaching. 

Completed applications must be submitted through and must contain: 

(1) AMS cover sheet. Indicate your area of mathematical specialization. 
(2) Cover letter 
(3) Curriculum Vitae 
(4) Research Statement 
(5) Teaching Statement 
(6) Inclusive Excellence Activities Statement 
(7) Teaching Evaluations 
(8) Selected reprints and/or preprints, papers not yet published 
(9) Three reference letters (fourth letter optional) sent electronically through AP Recruit. At least one letter should address candidate's experience in teaching.
