The Department of Mathematics at Tarleton State University invites applications for assistant/associate/professor positions beginning in Fall 2023 at our main campus in Stephenville, TX. Founded in 1899, Tarleton is a rapidly growing member of the Texas A&M University System.

Our faculty is highly focused on teaching and maintains active research agendas in pure and applied mathematics, mathematics education, statistics, and data science. The position is open to candidates in areas of pure and applied mathematics with preference given to candidates specializing in analysis who can contribute to our undergraduate and graduate programs. The successful candidate will have a record of significant research achievements, exemplary teaching, and impactful service commensurate with rank.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in mathematics and demonstrated pattern of excellence in research, teaching, and service.

Desired Qualifications: Specialization in analysis (broadly defined), potential for interdisciplinary collaborations, experience teaching and mentoring students at all levels, especially doctoral candidates.
