The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at American University of Sharjah (AUS) is now accepting applications for full-time regular faculty positions at the levels of Assistant or Associate Professor, commencing August 2024. Applicants with a strong research potential in all areas of mathematics and statistics will be considered. Candidates are required to have a PhD in Mathematics or related areas. Evidence of excellence in teaching at all levels of the curriculum and strong communication skills in English are expected. Experience in North American-style higher education is highly desirable. A complete application consists of two PDF files. The first file contains a cover letter, a teaching statement and a research statement. The second file contains the candidate's curriculum vitae along with contact details of three references for letters of recommendation.
