Description

The Department of Mathematics in the College of Natural Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Houston (UH) invites applications from candidates working in Computational Modeling with Applications to Life Science and Medicine for a tenured or tenure-track Assistant, Associate or Full Professor position to begin in August 2024.

We are particularly interested in someone with expertise in partial differential equations and advanced computational techniques motivated by our ability to understand, design, and invent in biology as well as to diagnose, prevent and treat in medicine, who would complement and enhance the excellent group at the Department of Mathematics and develop further inter-disciplinary ties with other departments at UH.

The Department of Mathematics is seeking outstanding candidates with the potential for exceptional research, excellence in teaching, and a commitment to enhancing our university in all aspects of academic life.

Qualifications

A minimum requirement for this position is a PhD in Mathematics, or a related field.
